An air by Don Pettigrew, a fiddler and retired policeman whom we me at the fiddle and step-dance contest in Pembroke, Ont., in 1995. Don played it for us at a small jam session. He said he worte the tune in 1993 when he visited the small, sparkling lake in Northern Ontario near the Manitoba border.
